Bastien Forato is a French Art Director + Publisher + Graphic & Type Designer based in Paris.
His practice ranges from book design to visual identities & other printed matter, type design, photography art direction with creative concepts, and book publishing & editorial coordination.
In 2024, he founded Collapse Books, an independent publishing house at the intersection of art, photography, and design.
Previously Art Director & Design Lead at Perrotin (Worldwide) — Senior Art Director for Fisheye Magazine (Paris), for creative agency Fisheye Manufacture (Paris) and Head of Publishing of French photography publishing house Fisheye Éditions (Paris).
